Hello, I’m Andrea.

Healing Habitats brings together what I’ve grown to love over 25 years working in wetland and stream systems.

Each part of the company grew from real-world experience.

The nursery grew out of a hands-on solution—providing black willow stakes from my own property for a project where native plant materials were hard to source. That experience revealed a clear need for more accessible, locally adapted plants for restoration work.

My consulting work focuses on streamside (riparian) and wetland restoration using low-impact techniques. This approach was shaped through hands-on experience assisting communities recovering from flood damage in the Kentucky River Basin.

My scientific approach to herbal medicine emerged from personal experiences with modern healthcare and a deep interest in plant-based healing.

Healing Habitats is my personal and professional commitment to restoring ecosystems, supporting communities, and reconnecting people with the healing power of nature.
